The 30 members of the Israel Young Academy, which operates under the auspices of The Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities, are outstanding scholars and scientists in various fields of knowledge at Israeli research institutions. Members of the Israel Young Academy are committed to social action and to promoting science and scholarship in Israel. The Young Academy’s objectives emphasize cultivating relationships between junior scholars and Israeli society and policymakers, removing impediments that junior scholars in Israel may face in realizing their potential, fostering cooperation between researchers from different fields of knowledge, in Israel and worldwide, and strengthening higher education and the education system in Israel.
